Novavax Leases 20,000 SF Within Pharma Facility

PHILADELPHIA,PA-The specialty biopharmaceutical firm Novavax Inc. leases 20,000 sf to house manufacturing facilities for its new Estrasorb product, an estrogen replacement lotion. Burns Mechanical Inc. will spearhead design and layout for the project.

PHILADELPHIA, PA-Specialty biopharmaceutical company Novavax Inc. has closed on a long-term 20,000-sf lease with PCI Services, a member of Cardinal Pharmaceutical Technologies & Services group. The space will meet Novavax’s manufacturing specs for its new product line in second quarter 2002.

Novavax selected Burns Mechanical Inc. of Horsham, PA, on a fast-track design and build basis for the project, to be located within the PCI plant at 3001 Red Lion Rd. here. Burns leads a design team comprised of Jacobs Wyper Architects of Philadelphia, PA, W.B. Moore Inc. of Easton, PA and RPA Associates Inc. of Reading, PA. Certified Facilities Corporation of Seattle, WA will provide validation service.
