"The Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale SW/Miramar is within 20 miles of everything there is to see and do in South Florida," hotel general manager Jeff Schneider says of the new, strategically located property. "From the Everglades Holiday Park to the beaches of Hollywood and South Beach, our hotel will appeal greatly to anyone visiting the Ft. Lauderdale area."

The inn is owned and managed by MEI Hotels. Hilton Garden Inn is Hilton Corp.'s newest hotel brand and targets the mid-priced hospitality market. Currently, there are about 140 such properties throughout the US, and the company has plans to open more throughout 2002.
