Pre-lettings have already been agreed with Homebase for a 100,000-sf DIY store and an 80,000-sf Sainsbury's supermarket, and work is scheduled for completion by autumn 2003.
Stannifer Managing Director John Shaw said: "As part of the province's only regional out-of-town shopping centre, the Sprucefield Centre will complement the Lisburn City Centre retail offer and help position the city as one of Northern Ireland's leading retail destinations."
