Evans Crossing was built as a 76,580-sf center in 1993. In 2001, 15,471 sf of additional shops were added. Kroger supermarkets reportedly account for 25% of grocery expenditures throughout Georgia with the next strongest grocery player accounting for just a 7% share.
Evans Crossing was 98.5%-occupied at the time of the sale. A 7,100-sf Olson Tire store anchors the second phase of the center.
Among the tenants, in addition to Kroger and Olson, are Blockbuster Video, Subway, Hair Cuttery, Dollar Tree, Postnet, H&R Block and Domino's Pizza. The Atlanta office of Trammell Crow Co., led by Whitney Knoll, senior vice president/retail, represented Regency in the transaction.
