Ritz-Carlton Offices Check Out of Atlanta

ATLANTA-The corporate offices of Marriott's top-tier hotel brand will check out of its 35,000-sf quarters at Monarch Plaza in Buckhead next summer and relocate in the Baltimore, MD/Washington DC area. The move is not expected to impact the Atlanta-area's two Ritz-Carlton hotels.

ATLANTA-The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., a subsidiary of Bethesda, MD-based Marriott International, will transfer its headquarters from Atlanta to an as yet undetermined location in the Baltimore, MD-Washington DC-area, closer to its corporate parent.

Ritz headquarters currently occupy 35,000 sf on the third floor of Monarch Plaza in Atlanta’s upscale Buckhead neighborhood, where office rentals average approximately $26 per sf, according to area brokers. The move will take place in summer 2003, says the firm’s spokesperson.
