Apartment Confab Features Top Industry Execs

BEVERLY HILLS, CA-Top gun Peter Kompaniez of Denver-based AIMCO apartment REIT and builder Alex G. Spanos of Stockton, CA-based A.G. Spanos Cos. will headline a list of more than 40 U.S. apartment industry leaders who will speak at the “Apartments 2002″ conference Sept. 19 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Spanos and Kompaniez, president of AIMCO, will be keynote speakers at the event, which will also include featured speakers Richard Burns, principal of Lend Lease Real Estate Investments; Jason J. Coughenour, a director of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development; Max L. Gardner, president of Irvine Apartment Communities; Harvey E. Green, president and CEO of Marcus & Millichap.; Mitchell W. Kiffe, a vice president at Freddie Mac; Heidi McKibben, Fannie Mae’s top Western multifamily executive; and Thomas K. Bannon, EVP of the California Apartment Association.

The day-long conference and evening networking reception will be presented by Beverly Hills-based Real Estate Conference Group. Its sponsors include many multifamily firms as well as GlobeSt.com and two of its sister print publications, Los Angeles-based Real Estate Southern California and the national Real Estate Forum.
