Arlie & Co. to Seek Permits for 38-Acre Project

EUGENE, OR-Arlie & Co. showed off sketches for a 38-acre planned unit development in north Eugene this week and was expected to begin filing for the necessary approvals by the end of the week.

Plans show office, retail, condominiums, apartments and an assisted living facility. The development would be called Crescent Village. If approval comes this fall, construction would likely begin next year, with substantial completion as much as a decade away.

The site lies east of Coburg Road and north of Crescent Avenue. Arlie says it will likely sell off pieces of the site to others who will construct most of the buildings. Arlie acquired the property earlier this year for $6.6 million. The seller, PeaceHealth, at one time sought to build a hospital on the site.
