Currently a high-end apartment community constructed in 1928, these homes will be completely refurbished and remodeled. But the goal is to retain their signature style by developer Fred Anhalt. Dan Dufffus, managing member of Barcelona Court LLC is overseeing the remodel.

Barcelona Court condominiums, slated for completion this fall, will be updated with modern conveniences and appliances, such as granite counters, state-of-the-art appliances, and in-home washers and dryers. The development's exterior will be renovated with a new roof and new windows and doors. The primary focus of the remodel, however, is to restore the original finishes and unique style such as classic wrought iron and wood railings.

The attached two-story homes will have a living room, kitchen and dining room on the main floor and either two or three bedrooms with a bathroom upstairs. Little finishes such as the double-paned leaded glass windows, distinctive designs and decorative fireplaces will set these condominiums apart from homes constructed today, according to Barcelona Court.
