Ritz to Relocate HQ From Atlanta to Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD-The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is moving its headquarters from Atlanta, GA to somewhere in Montgomery County in an effort to be near its parent company Marriott International, Inc. Ritz officials are currently scouring the county for a 30,000 to 40,000-sf space. The hotel company is expected to settle on a location before the end of September.

“We’re looking at two or three spaces right now,” Ritz spokesperson Vivian Deuschl tells GlobeSt.com. “We’re looking to be able to accommodate the 140 employees we have in Atlanta; we anticipate a fair amount of them will move here. We’re looking for a space comparable to the Atlanta building, something spacious and technologically adaptable.” Marriott’s headquarters sits at 10400 Fernwood Road in the city of Bethesda.
