The company, a spin-off of the former Radian Corp., provides materials for analyzing chemicals. The new facility, which will house Cerilliant's 38 employees, includes state-of-the-art laboratory and office space. "The nature of our business requires a specific type of facility in an appropriate office park location," said Michael Re, Cerilliant's president. "We looked at many sites in the Austin area, but the site at AmorRon Park in Round Rock best met our requirements for size, layout and location."

Cerilliant has outgrown its previous facility at 14050 Summit Dr. in Austin's north submarket. AmorRon Park 3, situated at 811 Paloma in Round Rock, is just east of Interstate 35. Built in 1985, it has 51,900 sf.

Other companies making the move from Austin to Round Rock have included DPT, which took 104,000 sf at Crystal Park, and Streamline Technical Services Inc., which leased 10,656 sf at Chandler Creek Business Park.

Re said Round Rock helped make the move easy. "We found them to be very cooperative throughout the design and construction of our laboratory facility, and were very helpful in working with our general contractor to keep the project on schedule," he said.

Cerilliant as formed in 2000. Before that, it was Radian Analytics, part of Radian Corp., now owned by URS Corp.
