The lease is for 12.5 years at an undisclosed rental rate. Area brokers estimate office space in Smyrna typically runs $17 per sf. Reston, VA-based X-O Communications, a troubled telecommunications company that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this month, previously held the building.
