100-Acre Mixed-Use Project Planned

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO-Developers Robin, Jim and Mark Morley and Ray O’Sullivan plan a 100-acre, 1.2 million-sf retail/office park at Stetson & Powers Corner in this city 60 miles south of Denver. King Soopers will open a 66,000-sf store in the Ridgeview Marketplace, scheduled to open this fall.

The 300,000-sf retail center will have eight restaurant and financial pads and 200,000-sf of boxes, small shops and the King Soopers.

“The strong residential growth in the immediate trade area plus the existing east-west access from Stetson along Austin Bluffs to Garden of the God’s makes Ridgeview Marketplace an outstanding grocery opportunity,” says Gary Fritzler, director of real estate for Kings.
