With 4.9 million sf, the Uncasville, CT project is a record-holder on a number of fronts. According to Perini officials, it is the world's fourth-largest casino and includes the world's largest planetarium. It also boasts the largest ballroom in New England and has more parking space than any other public facility in New England.

Also completed are the property's 100,000 sf of meeting space, a five-level garage and that accommodates 2,700 cars and hundreds of buses. A separate garage holds 1,750 cars and total parking at the property exceeds 13,000 spaces.

The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority owns the southeastern Connecticut resort, which it says is the largest private construction project in the East. Kohn Pedersen Fox designed the project, which Perini delivered in 38 months. Perini Building Co. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Perini Building Corp., also based in Framingham.
