Henry's Closing Neighborhood Supermarket

SAN DIEGO-A San Diego neighborhood is losing its main grocery store. Henry’s Marketplace, part of the Wild Oats Markets Inc. Farmers Market Division, announced today that due to the inability to come to an agreement with its landlord, the firm is closing its store in Serra Mesa at 3332 Sandrock Blvd., but will look for a new location.

The 50,000-sf store’s lease expired in January. It will close on July 14.

“Last fall when our lease was coming up for renewal, we received a tremendous outpouring of support from the local community to stay in this location,” says John Baker, vice president of the Wild Oats Farmers Market Division and Henry’s Marketplace. “We are currently looking for a site to relocate this store.”
