The anchor tenant is Advanced Technology Development Center, a state-funded incubator for high tech companies. It will occupy 125,000 sf of space for an undisclosed rental rate.

Centergy, a two-building complex, is described in printed statements from the University Financing Foundation as "the heart of the Southeast's technology corridor." The Foundation and Kim King are co-developers of the project.

The purchase of the land and construction of the $130-million complex is funded with $160 million in revenue bonds issued by the Atlanta Development Authority and a $5-million donation from the locally based Woodruff Foundation.

The first 200,000-sf Yamacraw Design Center building, a technology development initiative of the state, is scheduled to open this December.

Centergy is adjacent to Georgia Tech's Technology Square project, a $17-million, eight-acre multi-building complex under way that will be anchored by the DuPree College of Management.
