Phase Two of $130M, 15-Acre Centergy Begins

ATLANTA-The state-funded Advanced Technology Development Center will anchor the Downtown project with 125,000 sf of office space. The first 200,000-sf Yamacraw Design Center building is set to open in December.

ATLANTA-Locally based-University Financing Foundation and Kim King Associates begin construction of the second building in the $130 million, 15-acre Downtown Centergy complex this month. The building will contain 486,993 sf of retail and office space.

The anchor tenant is Advanced Technology Development Center, a state-funded incubator for high tech companies. It will occupy 125,000 sf of space for an undisclosed rental rate.

Centergy, a two-building complex, is described in printed statements from the University Financing Foundation as “the heart of the Southeast’s technology corridor.” The Foundation and Kim King are co-developers of the project.
