DDR developed the 230,000-sf Phase I in 1995 and retained ownership of the portion that was not owned by the retirement fund or Target. DDR also owns the adjacent 231,000-sf Phase II, which it developed in 1997. The developer manages the full 461,000-sf center.
Phase I tenants, in addition to Target, include Kohl's, Dick's Clothing and Sporting Goods, and DSW Shoe Warehouse. Phase II is anchored by Jo-Ann Stores, PetSmart, HH Gregg, and Value City Furniture.
The Belden Park Crossings power center is located on I-77, across from the 800,000-sf Belden Village Mall, which is anchored by Kaufmann's, Dillard's and Sears.
DDR owns and manages approximately 220 shopping centers in 41 states with approximately 56 million sf of retail real estate.
