The buyer, Caston S. Dalon, has paid $850,000 for the building, located at 6925 Aragon Circle.
Jim Kuhne and Samuel Chu of the Anaheim office of CB Richard Ellis acted on behalf of the seller, 6925 Aragon LLC.
The Buena Park sale follows on the heels of another Orange County industrial transaction, involving a 9,212-sf facility in Rancho Santa Margarita. Pace Integrated Systems, an HVAC contractor, paid The Brookhollow Group more than $1.1 million for that facility.
The contractor, which is currently located in Laguna Hills, plans to move to the newly acquired building in July. The Rancho Santa Margarita facility is located at 30442 Avenida Esperanza in Brookhollow Business Park.
Activity in the county's industrial market is expected to pick up in the months ahead, as the region's manufacturing sector has been in recovery mode since the first quarter of this year. Chapman University's Composite Index, which measures manufacturing activity in Orange County, jumped sharply from 35.6 in the fourth quarter of 2001 to 56.3 in the first quarter of 2002.
These figures signal the end of a recession and start of a recovery, as any value of more than 50 indicates growth for the region.
