Through SpaceLease.com's Website, officespace.com will list more than 3,000 office spaces in the Puget Sound region. The company will market the smaller listings to small and mid-size companies, simplifying the leasing process.
At first, the companies will only offer service in the King, Pierce, Snohomish and Thurston county markets. However, the service will expand if its launch is successful, possibly branching out to other markets, including Portland, Denver and Ohio.
Both companies have been offering leasing services in Seattle for many years. SpaceLease.com has recently become the exclusive in-house service for Colliers International brokers. But the exclusive agreement was ended because SpaceLease wanted to offer its services to other brokers.
Property owners and leasing agents can register their properties on the officespace.com Website, which offers free basic listings and rates between $200 and $800 for enhanced listings. The listings are then included in SpaceLease.com.
