The project will break ground in July at the 158-acre Westpoint Centre within the park where Future Metals becomes the 12th corporate tenant. The construction cost equates to $51.37 per sf.

"We wanted the facility ready two months earlier than the eight to nine months typically needed for this type of product," Future Metals controller Angelo Fraioli says in a prepared statement. The new site will allow the company to grow the complex by an additional 22,500 sf in later years.

Future Metals employs 60 persons in five U.S. branches and two locations in Europe. The company is a subsidiary of Marmon/Keystone Corp., considered in the industry as one of the world's leading distributors of specialty pipe and tubing.
