Nicholson Estates' 231,080 sf proposal includes: 97,880 sf of retail; 38,200 sq od restaurants and bars; a 25,000-sf health & fitness unit; 38,000-sf cinema; 32,000-sf bowling alley and 101 apartments. Aplanning aopplication is expected to be ready by Autumn 2002.
NAI Gooch Webster is advising Nicholson Estates and Drives Jonas advised the council on the selection process. Phillipa Arnold, Associate Partner in Drivers Jonas' Planning and Development team said: "The scheme is an excellent example of mixed-use development. It shows how retail, leisure and housing, should be integrated into the modern town centre to provide an exciting, safe and vibrant environment."
