The buildings were developed by locally based-Turner Properties, the real estate subsidiary of TBS, which is also based in Atlanta. Both companies are owned by New York-based AOL Time Warner.

Building A includes executive offices for the Turner Entertainment division along with the company's accounting department.

Building B is a tech-heavy building that contains broadcasting equipment for a majority of the TBS networks, which include TBS Superstation, TNT, Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies, and two regional networks, Turner South and Boomerang.

Broadcasting equipment and concerns for security, including a 1,200-space underground parking garage, are said to have ratcheted up the investment in Building B.

The Techwood campus is in addition to Turner's 1.5-million-sf CNN Center in downtown Atlanta.
