In the new lease, Cycle Solutions Inc., which provides service for clinical trials of drugs and medical devices, snapped up 3,295 sf at Bridgepoint Plaza at 5918 W. Courtyard Dr. in the northwest submarket. The company moves from Westlake Oaks Executive Park, Building G, at 1101 S. Capital of Texas Highway, in the southwest submarket. Bridgepoint Plaza is a two-building development with a total of 174,000 sf.
Handling the negotiations were Rick Whiteley of Colliers and Curtis Mercer of the Mercer Co. The building owner is Origin Systems Inc.
In the renewal, Whiteley represented the Timothy Brown law firm as it re-signed for 908 sf in the Jefferson Building, 1600 W. 38th St., in the central submarket. Jeff Henley of the Kucera Cos. acted on behalf of the building, 1600 W. 38th Ltd. The Jefferson Building, built in 1971, has 97,623 sf over four stories.
