Boy Scouts Sells Land to Townhouse Developer

PHILADELPHIA-Eight acres on the outskirts of Elkins Park, PA, owned by the Cradle of Liberty Boy Scout group, sell to an upscale home developer for $950,000. Developer Mignatti plans 38 townhouses for Bryer Court, a high-end community in Cheltenham Township.

The land is located on Route 611 near Route 73 on the outskirts of Elkins, PA.

The Cradle of Liberty Council is the third largest Boy Scout council in the US. Created in 1996, it serves more than 87,000 youths in Pennsylvania's Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

The King of Prussia, PA office of locally based-Binswanger/CBB handled the transaction for the council.
