Located at 3860 Murphy Canyon Road, the 107-room hotel is the Spartanville, N.C.-based company's second property in San Diego County, its 52nd property in the state and its 449th property overall. The company's other San Diego County property is in Hotel Circle.

Although financing has been difficult to secure for larger resort-style hotel projects, the mid-level extended-stay market has remained strong, catering to the business traveler and budget tourism market.
