Fifth BoozAllenHamilton Building Complete

MCLEAN, VA-International consulting firm BoozAllenHamilton will soon bring 500 more employees to its multi-structure campus headquarters with the recent completion of the company’s fifth office building, the 125,600-sf EJ Randolph II. Developed by Equity Office Properties Trust, the six-story edifice at 8255 Greensboro Drive cost an estimated total of $35.7 million to build, including land cost. BoozAllen is leasing the structure from EOP.

“This is the second build-to-suit that EOP has done for us at our McLean campus,” BoozAllen director of facilities and administrative services Gary Lance says. “The service level everyone provided–from the lease negotiation process through design and construction–reflected the level of quality we’ve come to expect from them.” The building also features a six-story, 930-space parking garage that is to be shared with EJ Randolph I, the neighboring 165,000-sf structure that was built in 1984. With the addition of EJ Randolph II, BoozAllen’s campus now consists of 850,000-sf of office space.
