Stu Leibsohn of Delphi Business Properties says Western, which also has operations in Burbank and Santa Clarita, now has over a million sf under lease in this area serving television and film production companies, many of which have headquarters or other facilities in this part of the San Fernando Valley.
Leibsohn says Western leased its new space at 9175 San Fernando Road in Sun Valley. He and Delphi's David Hoffberg represented the landlord, Berendo Property, while Western was represented by Greg Barsamian of CB Richard Ellis. As part of the lease, Leibsohn notes, Western also leased an adjacent 26,000-sf parcel for future expansion.
