Sysco leased back the property from Weston and remains as the building's sole occupant. Neither Sysco nor Weston would disclose the length of the lease or the rental rate.

Sysco operates internationally and had sales of $21.8 billion in 2001. It has stated its plans to build a larger regional office and warehouse facility in northeastern Ohio.

Weston recently raised $3.85 million through the sales of two Ohio properties.

The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland bought the Ball Building in Downtown Cleveland from Weston for $2.05 million. The society has been that building's sole tenant since the late 1970s and plans an $800,000 renovation.

Weston also recently sold the Halle Industrial Park on the east side of Cleveland to a locally based partnership, identified as Halle Industrial Park LLC, for $1.8 million. The new owners of this property reportedly plan a $200,000 renovation.
