"The Winterthur catalogue fulfillment center is a great asset to both the state and local economy," Delaware Economic Development Office director John D. Wik said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the center's opening. "This project is a great example of how we are working to diversify Delaware's industry base and direct economic growth to targeted areas." Winterthur's office and warehouse structure at 801 East Sixth Street joins power transmission developer Philadelphia Gear Corporation in the business park, which is currently being redeveloped to accommodate 1.1 million sf of building space by 2007.
