GlobeSt.com Unveils Tool to Market Sublease Space

NEW YORK CITY-Sublease space emerges from the shadows as GlobeSt.com and Sublease.com launch a new joint venture. The initiative provides a city-by-city marketing outlet to fill the nation's growing stock of sublease office space.

NEW YORK CITY-In its constant effort to beef up its raft of industry services, GlobeSt.com has partnered with Irvine, CA-based Sublease.com to create the GlobeSt.com Sublease Center. The center provides property owners, managers and agents with a national listing service of sublease properties available on a city-by-city basis. As its name implies, Sublease.com is a web-enabled service that is focused exclusively on subleasing.

“The service–a first for the industry–comes at a critical time in the commercial real estate cycle,” comments Real Estate Media Inc. president and publisher Jonathan A. Schein. “There are a number of external forces that are coming together to heighten the need for such a service. Not the least of these is the still-weak national economy and the recent upheaval in corporate America–which we expect will increase the nation’s stock of sublease space as expansion plans are terminated or put on hold.”
