Hosp, Gilbert has been in its fourth-floor offices in the 11-story building for about seven years, broker Bob Harrison of the Charles Dunn Co. tells GlobeSt.com.
Harrison, who represented Hosp, Gilbert, says the law firm initially subleased its space from an insurance company client, but the sublease expired July 1. The firm has now converted to a direct deal and an expansion from its former 7,400-sf offices. The law firm specializes in representing insurance firms and needed the additional space because its business is growing, Harrison tells GlobeSt.com.
Harrison represented the tenant, while Carl Anderson of Trammell Crow Co. represented the landlord, Operating Engineers Fund, Inc. The 204,000-sf building was constructed in 1989 and is about 95% leased.
