The scheme opened in 1991 with 35,000 sf of retail space, a visitors' centre and restaurant. The first phase provides retail units for predominantly Irish-based designers and producers, including Paul Costelloe; Ulster Weavers; Foxford Wollen Mills; Moygashel Linen Mills and Panache Shoes. The second phase development will be targeted at multiple retailers more commonly found at factory outlet centres.
Paul Wilson of letting agent Lambert Smith Hampton said: "The Linen Green has become a major tourist attraction and the planning permission for the second phase proves what a success it has become."
