Bracken Joins Legg Mason Real Estate Services

PHILADELPHIA-The local subsidiary of Baltimore-based Legg Mason Inc. bolsters its investment advisory group by hiring the 16-year commercial real estate veteran. Enda Bracken moves from AIG to direct asset management at LMRES and pursue a broad spectrum of property types.

PHILADELPHIA-Enda J. Bracken has been hired as director of asset management in theinvestment advisory group of Legg Mason Real Estate Services, a subsidiary of Baltimore-based Legg Mason Inc. Bracken will “enhance portfolio values through active asset management strategies across a broad spectrum of property types and market cycles,” according to a statement by Kathleen Hands, managing director of the investment advisory group.

Before his appointment, Bracken was vice president of asset management for North America for New York-based American International Group. Before joining AIG, he was senior vice president and director of the real estate office division of Baltimore-based Aegon USA, the US arm of Netherlands-based Aegon Group. Bracken has more than 16 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.
