The surrounding 13-acre area is also home to CBL Center, the developers' headquarters. The Shoppes at Hamilton Place will be anchored by Marshall's, Bed Bath & Beyond and a third retailer that, according to a statement by CBL president Stephen D. Lebovitz, will be announced "shortly, when the lease is fully executed." In addition to the three anchors, there will be 14,600 sf of specialty shops.

Lebovitz didn't disclose occupancies, terms and values of the existing leases or the quoted average rent in his prepared statement.

The flagship Hamilton Place has 200 stores and is 95% occupied, CBL spokesman John Martin tells GlobeSt.com. Among the tenants are Dillard's, JC Penney, Sears and Proffitt's. Adjacent outparcels include 17 theaters and 30 restaurants and cafes.

Martin declined to provide construction costs or retail rental rates for either property.
