Cresa Partners, which represented Artisan in the transaction, has not revealed details of the lease. But asking prices for direct space in the building are in the mid-to-high $30s. Asking prices for sublease space have been in the low $30s. ATO Records was represented by Ed Fritsche of Wertheim & Associates.
"The Tribeca commercial leasing market was negatively affected by the terrorist attacks on September 11th, but the climate is improving," says Garett Varricchio, associate at CRESA. "We received five offers within two weeks, a clear demonstration that there is renewed demand for unique office spaces downtown."
