The nonprofit organization leased space at 8401 Aero Dr., which is near Montgomery Field and the Sky Park industrial center. The building's owner is Aero Park Associates.
San Diego Workforce Partnership is expected to move into the new office space this month. The 25-year-old organization helps connect people with jobs or training to meet an employer's needs, providing education, training and employment services.
Jay Arnett of Burnham Real Estate/Oncor International represented the building owner. Dave Ferguson of Goldman Ferguson Partners represented the nonprofit.
The Kearny Mesa office submarket reported a low 7.9% vacancy rate, with a total inventory of 5.3 million sf, in the first six months of 2002. The area is seeing healthy absorption at the at the San Diego Spectrum project, under development by Lennar Partners.
