EastGroup's Tenant Chase Locks Down 104,310 SF for 10 Years

DALLAS-Southwest Bindery signs the deal with EastGroup Properties as a result of "aggressive" negotiations that end in a 10-year contract. The inbound tenant exits 40,000 sf for the expansion move and state-of-the-art equipment.

DALLAS-The Canadian-based Southwest Bindery Inc. is ramping up a relocation from 40,000 sf into 104,310 sf at Dallas’ Brookhollow Industrial Park. Move-in will take place in the next couple of weeks in a 10-year lease signed with Jackson, MS-based EastGroup Properties.

Tom C. Smolik, senior vice president of TIG Real Estate Services, says cold calling and hard work landed the tenant for the Viscount Row Distribution Center at 9219 Viscount. Smolik was the sole broker on the deal.
