Locally based Cousins Properties declined to provide GlobeSt.com with rental rates. But area brokers tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity the average full-service asking rent is $24.50 per sf. That would make the lease worth $3 million, based on a $24-per-sf rent, area brokers tell GlobeSt.com.
Cousins developed the 358,000-sf tower on Peachtree Street at the same time it was redeveloping the 500,000-sf Emory Crawford Long Hospital. The developer would not disclose the tower's occupancy rate, estimated by area brokers at 75%.
Resurgens, founded in mid-1999, has 68 physicians at 23 Atlanta area locations. It is affiliated with Brentwood, TN-based OrthoLink Physicians Corp., a network of orthopaedic clinics and surgery centers operating in six states.
