In one of the East Bay's largest deals seen this year, Union City-based Royal Coffee has purchased a 320,000-sf warehouse in Hayward from Cardinal Healthcare. The warehouse is located on a 15-acre parcel near downtown Hayward. The coffee maker paid $12.5 million for the 320,000-sf facility. CB Richard Ellis brokered the deal for both sides.
In Union City, private investors Che Chen & Shu Fen Liu sunk $12.3 million into the purchase of a 320,000-sf industrial building at 31353 Huntwood Ave. The property was built in 1982 and includes loading docks, ground level loading, heavy power and 35,000 square feet of office space. Again, CB Richard Ellis brokered the deal for both sides. The seller was Allegiance Healthcare Corp.
