North Seattle Krispy Kreme in the Works

SEATTLE-Krispy Kreme Doughnuts petitions the city for a master use permit to build a 4,300-sf store in North Seattle on 125th Street and North Aurora. It will mark the company's third foray into Washington state.

SEATTLE-Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is planning its third Puget Sound location.

Franchisee KremeWorks Washington is seeking a master use permit from the city to build a 4,300-sf store at Aurora Avenue North and North 125th Street. It will rise in front of a Lowe’s store, says Tim Jewett, of the Everett-based Dykeman Architects. Dykeman is currently working on six Krispy Kreme stores in the Northwest. A 2,542-sf Jack-in-the-Box and 68 surface parking spaces also are planned for the site.

Jewett says they are looking to “embrace the car culture” in that particular location, and possibly putting the Krispy Kreme panel truck on permanent display, in addition to making the space more pedestrian-friendly.
