PBMS will relocate roughly 70 employees currently housed at the firm's Buffalo Road facility in Rochester to RTP. The lease begins immediately but Pitney Bowes will build out the space before taking occupancy. Terms of the transaction have not been released.

Pitney Bowes chose RTP for "the reliability and abundance of onsite power and the ability to control temperature and humidity throughout the facility--both critical factors for our diverse state of the art service offerings," says Kerry Noble, general of Pitney Bowes Rochester Services Center.

Private real estate investment firm Cohen Asset Management Inc. owns and operates RTP, a five million-sf, 500-acre campus that includes office, high tech manufacturing, biotech, telco/data center, call center, warehouse, retail and hotel space.
