George Russell of the Charles Dunn Co., who represented the buyer, said the property has been leased to a new tenant, Softman Products LLC, a software reseller. Softman will relocate to the new building from about 7,500 sf at a nearby Washington Boulevard location and will occupy the entire building.
Although the Westside office market in general is soft, Russell tells GlobeSt.com there is strong demand for small, owner-user office buildings in Marina del Rey, reflected in the sales price of $168 per sf.
Russell says the building formerly was occupied by the corporate offices of Scheid Vineyard, which has moved to Northern California.
