SAN ANTONIO-WorkPlaceUSA has begun the second phase of a two-building project for Chase Bank Card Services in Westover Hills. The $20-million, 152,266-sf call center is to be ready for occupancy in March 2003.

Last November, WorkPlaceUSA completed a twin building for Chase at the 35-acre campus in San Antonio’s northwest submarket. The facility is designed to accommodate up to 2,500 employees. The total cost for the two-building project is about $43 million.

This month Chase Bank Card Services, a division of the New York-based JPMorgan Chase & Co. financial services company, is to move into 86,000 sf of sublease space at 7050 Fairgrounds Parkway in San Antonio’s west submarket. The credit card workers in that building are likely to move to the new building at Westover Hills when it is completed.
