The company has signed a 10-year lease to occupy 6,581-sf of space at 555 City Center, a Shorenstein Co.-owned commercial office building in the downtown area. The lease agreement is effective as of September and the company plans to relocate to its new space from its existing facility on Grand Avenue at that time.

According to Debra Greenstein, Entrust Administration president, the company is moving to 555 City Center because they were presented with an excellent lease agreement. The area's abundance of dining and retail options were also a major draw for Entrust.

555 City Center is part of Oakland City Center, which encompasses more than 1.5 million sf of office space and includes 18 restaurants and food outlets, more than a dozen retail shops and services, a complete athletic club and parking for 1,840 vehicles.

Patrick Ellwood of Ellwood Commercial Real Estate handled the lease transaction for Entrust Administration, while John Dolby represented Shorenstein Realty Services. The lease rate was not available but the average asking rate in downtown Oakland is $2.50 per sf, monthly, full service.
