The Dry Creek Casino LLC is assisting the Dry Creek Band of Pomo Indians in developing the River Rock Casino, which is located in the Alexander Valley and slated to be opened in 2002 in Sonoma County.
"This is a significant development for our company and shareholders, as we are now receiving a larger share of DCC's net revenues from the River Rock Casino," says President and CEO H. Thomas Winn.
Dry Creek Casino would not disclose the financial details of the transaction. According to representatives, the developer will now receive 20% of the net revenues from the casino project, which would be earnings before depreciation and amortization, for five years. The new 80,000-sf Indian casino will overlook the Alexander Valley vineyards and the Russian River in Sonoma County. The casino will hold 1,600 slot machines, 50 table games and dining and entertainment areas.
