APS will occupy 60,000 sf in Silver Spring, MD's three-building Silver Spring Metro Plaza on Colesville Road, where space goes for $25.75 to $27.75-per-sf. ValueOptions will occupy 69,000-sf of space at Sunrise Technology Park on Sunrise Valley Drive in Reston, VA. Leasing fees in the four-structure office park range from $13 to $15 per sf.

"These two significant lease deals demonstrate the strength of industries, such as health care, in the Washington Metro Area despite poor market conditions across the US," Trizec regional vice president Paul Schulman says. Other health care organizations in the area include The Walter Reed Army Medical Center, which has space in the Silver Spring complex, and electronic health care transaction company The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange, which is housed in the Reston office park.
