All Sectors Improve in Oakland County Suburb

TROY, MI-The multifamily and retail sectors are strongest in this suburb of Detroit, with new condominium projects for about 360 units and shopping districts springing up all over the city.

TROY, MI-The city is still growing with new development and property tenants, even in a weakened economy. In office space, Redico has announced it will complete major renovations of the City Center and the SBC Ameritech buildings.

Retail is also growing. Cambridge Crossings at Maple and Maplelawn nears completion of the shopping district. A new 30,000-sf Marshall’s department store is going up just west of the new Wal-Mart. Tenants like Home Depot, Kohl’s, Farmer Jack and PetCo have leased all but 7,000-sf of Midtown Square, a 604,000 new shopping area at Maple and Coolidge roads.
