He will remain headquartered in the Nashville office and be responsible for overseeing all Grubb & Ellis transaction services activity in the Northeast, Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions.

Fulton replaces Phil Meany, who left the post to become the chief operating officer of Herndon, VA-based Gulick Group.

In a printed statement, Barry Barovick, chief executive officer of Grubb & Ellis, calls Fulton a successful entrepreneur and an experienced manager. Fulton has 30 years of experience in commercial real estate.
