FREDERICK, MD-Economic development and employment organizations have breathed a sigh of relief with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage’s recent decision to keep its 1,200 employees in 201,300 sf of space among three structures at the 18-building, 750,000-sf I-270 Technology Park. The five-year deal gives the financial institution an option to renew the lease twice more for five-year periods, each.

While the monetary value of Wells Fargo’s lease at buildings on New Horizon Way and 7445 New Technology Way is not being revealed, many of the park’s other flex buildings built in the mid-1980s are marketed for $12.50-per-sf.
