The 136,000 sq ft block, headquarters of law firm CMS Cameron McKenna, was put on the market a year ago but Land Securities has struggled to find a buyer.
Ahouvi has had an active year. Last Spring, he bought CIT's Smith New Court building at 80 Farringdon Road, EC1, for £80 million ($122 million) and before that he bought Taylor Woodrow's Eastcheap Court, EC3, for £32 million ($48.8 million).
